Our superior storage solution uses the power of air to stockpile and reserve renewable energy until it’s needed. Liquid air energy storage is a 100% mature, clean technology that delivers more efficient storage capabilities from 6 hours up to several weeks.

We store renewable energy by refrigerating fresh air and converting it to liquid, at a fraction of its previous volume.

At times when demand exceeds supply, we re-generate 100% clean energy. Unlike other technologies, we can do this seamlessly and simultaneously with capture. In this way, our technology firms up previously intermittent renewables, enabling the shift from fossil fuels to wind and solar.

Although a huge market already, demand for stability services is set to grow significantly because the retirement of gas generation is leading to a shortfall in balancing capabilities.
